About Timberdale Homes
Timberdale Homes
At Timberdale Homes, we design and construct fine country homes featuring elegant, well-proportioned spaces that embrace and nurture their inhabitants. We selectively incorporate specialty construction elements such as timber framing, custom millwork and stonework, employing the highest levels of craftsmanship, to create truly beautiful and unique new and remodeled custom homes throughout Fairfield County and Litchfield County, CT. All of our construction uses up-to-date building sciences and methods ensuring durable, healthy, energy efficient and environmentally aware custom homes.
Our collaborative approach to the design and build process involves careful listening to client needs with thoughtful interpretation, guidance and challenging of client ideas. We seek to build consensus in the design phase assuring harmony between site, space needs, design, materials, finishes and budget. As a “design-build” homebuilder, we are able to offer clients a coherent and coordinated approach that saves time and money.
Timberdale Homes has the skills, experience and resources to handle challenging new home construction and major renovation projects. We use our own in-house craftsmen for most carpentry tasks. We have a large woodworking shop located in Bethel, CT where we craft specialty moldings and other architectural millwork, including cabinetry and built-ins. We have extensive experience in timber frame and other specialty construction. Timberdale Homes has won numerous awards for its homebuilding quality and craftsmanship including the prestigious HOBI award in 2006, 2007 and 2008. In 2008 Timberdale received a HOBI Grand Award for “Project of the Year” in the State of Connecticut.
As a U.S. Green Building Council certified builder, Timberdale Homes has participated in the LEED for Homes Pilot Demonstration initiative. Where possible, Timberdale proactively incorporates green building methods into its home building practices. Our design, construction methods and workmanship quality orientation are highly compatible with the green building approach.
